On a day too hot to play, the gang decide to take a nap in order to wake up when it’s cooler and play then. They each take a stab at telling a naptime story but their stories are either too scary or too exciting to make anyone sleepy. Finally, Purple Turtle tells a peaceful ‘rocking turtle’ story that lulls everyone to sleep.
